The Highland Friendship Club is a nonprofit organization with a very limited budget. Any help from individual donors and the business community is welcome!
Make a donation to HFC to support current and future activities!
- $500 sponsors an eight week activity for 10-12 HFC members
- $250 pays for one Adventure Day bus
- $100 provides a Friday Fun Night for 10-15 HFC members
- $50 purchases supplies for art & cooking classes
- $25 provides a scholarship for one HFC Adventure Day

Does the Highland Friendship Club accept credit card donations?

What is the Highland Friendship Club's non-profit status?
The Highland Friendship Club formalized its 501c3 status in 2004. All donations to our organization are tax deductible and we'll happily provide any documentation you need to gain full tax benefits from your financial donations or in-kind support. Does the Highland Friendship Club receive grants to support HFC activities?
Over the past four years, the Highland Friendship Club has received operating and program grants from the City of St. Paul, The Bremer Foundation, the Saint Paul Foundation, the Boss Foundation, the Highwinds Fund of Macalester College, The F. R. Bigelow Foundation, the Lanners Family Foundation, The Gordon and Margaret Bailey Foundation, The Deluxe Foundation and Highland Bank. Read more about our supporters in our 2009 annual report.
Does the Highland Friendship Club accept in-kind donations or donations of professional services?
Absolutely! A professional writer donated her time to write most of our website content and professional photographers donated their time to take many of the photos you see in the website. Bead Monkey donated beads for our jewelry class, Hermes’ Floral donates flowers for community projects and others have donated supplies and food for activities and events. Does the Highland Friendship Club host any special events that I can attend?
HFC hosts two special events each year and you can participate in one of them or both! Art of Friendship is June 18, 2010 at the Summit Brewing Company and showcases HFC members’ art and art from local artists. Art of Friendship provides support for summer activities and scholarships. Lanes for Friendship is on December 4, 2010 and features special guest Joe Mauer and other local sports celebrities. Lanes for Friendship provides support for HFC’s year round activity schedule.
